HAPPY THANKSIVING!

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving with their friends and family.  As I reflect on this past year I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed me and my bride with the birth of son - Cooper. He is such a blessing to our family - Coop truly is a gift from God.  What are you thankful for?

Business Card Holder

This was a really quick project - I needed something to hold my business cards. As always it is hand stitched with waxed thread (I don't have much choice when I don't have a leather sewing machine! ha ha) and this one is just the natural leather with some leather dressing applied - no dye or stain.

Tooled Wrist Cuff

This is a wrist cuff that I just finished for my Father-in-law; it is a early Christmas present, I was going to wait to give it to him at Christmas - but there is no sense in letting it sit at my house for a month when he can have it now. The bottom layer is around 4 oz. black latigo leather hand stitched to a custom tooled top layer of 2 oz. leather finished off with a home brewed dye job. The tooling was inspired by a Steveb Leatherworks design - gotta give props where props are due.

My Personal Wallet

This is my daily wallet and first wallet I ever made for that matter - with custom Maltese cross and spiderweb tooling finished with a home-brewed dye job. A solid heavy duty wallet that I will enjoy for many years to come.

Custom Handstitched Leather Wallet

This is a wallet I just finished for my bride. The exterior pattern is hand stitched with waxed thread around custom tooling on 4 oz. leather, while the interior is 1-2 oz. leather with a custom fabric lining. The inside edge of the pockets and and outside is laced with 1/8" kangaroo. The wallet snaps together with a dual concho keeper.  The design on the outside is inspired by a wallet that was made by Kevin King Leather.

Heavy Duty Knife Sheath

Here is a knife sheath I made for a co-worker.  He got this knife in Vietnam and it came with a PVC sheath that had deteriorated over the years.  This sheath is made from 8 oz. leather and built to last.  Here are the results - a heavy duty, custom made sheath.
